Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all reservations and stays at De Slangenborg, the Nature Cottage, and the group camping site De Zonnegloren.

 

Reservations and Payments

• A reservation becomes final once it has been confirmed by us.

• Within 14 days of making the reservation, a deposit of 15% of the total reservation amount must be paid.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before arrival.

• For reservations made less than 14 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid within 24 hours.

• A security deposit of €200.00 is required for the Nature Cottage and the group camping site De Zonnegloren.

• The security deposit will be refunded after departure, provided that the accommodation or campsite is left clean, complete and without damage.

 

Cancellations

• Cancellations are only accepted by e-mail.

• In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the arrival date, only the 15% deposit remains payable.

• In the event of cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival, no refund will be given.

• In the event of a no-show, the entire reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

 

Age Requirement

• De Slangenborg and the Nature Cottage are exclusively accessible to guests aged 18 years and older. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted.

• De Zonnegloren may only be reserved by an adult lead booker.

 

Groups

• Groups are only permitted at the group camping site De Zonnegloren.

• Group stays of more than four persons are not permitted at De Slangenborg or in the Nature Cottage.

 

Peace and Nature

• De Slangenborg is an Adults Only site intended for guests who value peace, quiet and nature.

• Quiet hours apply on all sites between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

• Music, radios and other sound sources are not permitted if they can be heard by other guests or nearby residents.

• Guests are expected to treat nature, wildlife and fellow guests with respect.

 

Dogs

• Dogs are welcome where permitted for the specific accommodation or campsite.

• Dogs must be kept on a leash and must not cause disturbance.

• Dog waste must be cleaned up immediately.

 

Safety

• Open fires are not permitted at De Slangenborg or at the Nature Cottage.

• At the group camping site De Zonnegloren, open fires are only permitted in the designated fire bowl provided on site, under the supervision of responsible adults and with the permission of the site manager.

• The site manager may refuse or withdraw permission for open fires, for example in periods of drought, strong winds or other circumstances that increase the risk of fire.

• Fireworks are not permitted.

• Instructions given by the owner or site manager must be followed immediately.

 

Liability

• Staying on the premises is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

• The owner is not liable for loss, theft, damage or accidents, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

 

Termination of Stay

In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions, or in cases of serious disturbance or nuisance, we reserve the right to terminate the stay immediately without any right to a refund.
