De Slangenborg is a small-scale nature reserve in the heart of Westerwolde, south of Sellingen. It's a place where those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers can relax in their own unique way and completely escape the hustle and bustle. The adults-only site offers ample space for peace and privacy.
During the summer months, from June 1st to September 1st, you can camp on one of eleven solitary pitches or on the hikers' field for hikers and cyclists (slow travelers). All pitches are green and sheltered, ensuring you'll experience plenty of peace and privacy while camping.
This stylish nature house is available year-round. It's completely secluded, with panoramic views of the adjacent nature reserve, so you can enjoy peace and quiet in any season.
Whether you choose the comfort of a detached cottage or the simple outdoor life on one of the camping pitches: at De Slangenborg, everything revolves around silence, nature, and relaxation in a beautiful landscape.
Sanitary Facilities
During the summer months (June 1st to September 1st), De Slangenborg offers well-maintained sanitary facilities. The sanitary building is cleaned daily and equipped with showers, toilets, and dishwashing facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay.
There's also an inclement weather facility: a sheltered, inviting area where you can stay dry in inclement weather. Here you'll find a refrigerator and power outlets for charging phones or e-bikes, or for cooling groceries.
These facilities also fit in with the small-scale and peaceful design of De Slangenborg: functional, well-maintained and with attention to the environment, so you can enjoy peace and nature without a care in the world.
